Things are moving fast—and it’s all thanks to neighbors like you. Your good work will help Ann Arbor finally move past decades of exclusionary zoning practices. We have a few quick updates and an easy July challenge to help keep the momentum going!

When: THIS Sunday at 4:00 PM!
Where: Downtown Ann Arbor Library (343 S 5th Ave) 3rd Floor Community Room
Hear from exciting guest speakers! Make friends with fellow volunteers! Feel like you are part of the solution! What else do we need to say? It’s gonna be 🔥.
If you are a caretaker or parent, bring your people with you. We’ll have a few activities for the youngest neighbors. Some of us will walk over to Top of the Park after!

📋️ Enjoy summer events and gather some signatures!
Summertime vibes at Top of the Park 🎶 or an AFC Ann Arbor ⚽️ game — what could be more Ann Arbor than that? How about collecting signatures for some badly needed change? We have opportunities this weekend and beyond, and you are so invited to join us. Sit at a table at the AFC Ann Arbor home game this Sunday at 2pm. Go to Top of the Park this weekend and pass out some snazzy little flyers. We can hook you up with everything you need. To coordinate, plug into our group chat (read below) or send us an email.

đź’¬ City Planning Commission Meeting this Tuesday 7/1 at 5:30pm
CPC needs to hear your stories of living in this housing-scarce community! You can speak during the public comment period right after the meeting starts, either in-person or through Zoom. Or send an email to [email protected]! Send that email by noon on Tuesday to be included in meeting’s packet. Need help writing something? We’re here to help!
🪧 Lawn & Window Signs Are Here!
We’ve distributed more than 100 signs across the city, and that’s just in the past 10 days! Hit us up if you want to show your support, too: [email protected]! Also, we welcome donations to help cover the cost of the signs. In the Designation (Optional) field, write in “Neighbors for More Neighbors A2”.
✅ Pro Tip: Place signs on the house side of the sidewalk with a 5’ buffer from the public right-of-way. The city can remove signs placed in the right-of-way!!
🎯 July Challenge: Ask 5 Friends to Sign
Word of mouth is powerful. This month, we’re asking everyone to invite 5 people—friends, coworkers, your book club—to sign the petition.
