Make a Difference From the Comfort of Your Home 🏢 or In Person ♥️
There are several amazing opportunities to give back to your neighbors with the click of a button, as well as in-person.
🚨 End of the Year Challenge: Come All, It’s Comment Time!
Public comments are open for the Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP) starting this week until December 10th. As you may well know, this will determine the rules for housing, transportation, and neighborhood development for years to come. This is your chance to directly shape Ann Arbor’s future and support more housing options.

Let’s show them how many people are behind the CLUP! Our ask is that everyone who receives this email leave a comment before the Planning Commission meeting on December 10th. Whether you support missing middle housing, increased density near transit, or simplified zoning, your individual comment makes a difference.
It only takes a few minutes to make your voice heard!
🚦 A Safer Ann Arbor: The Roadway Rightsizing (A2R2) Survey
Our core mission at More Neighbors Ann Arbor is to advocate for policies that make our city more affordable, sustainable, and equitable. Safe streets are essential to all three!
Ann Arbor is committed to Vision Zero, a crucial initiative aiming to eliminate all traffic fatalities and severe injuries. Unfortunately, some of our major streets—those with two or more lanes traveling in the same direction—are currently the most dangerous in Ann Arbor. They lead to higher vehicle speeds and carry a significantly greater risk of severe crashes.
If we want to build a truly livable, sustainable city where people can choose to drive less, these streets must be safe for:
Future Residents: People living in new housing along transit corridors.
Vulnerable Road Users: Pedestrians, cyclists, and transit riders of all ages.
The A2R2 project is the city’s major initiative to redesign ten of these priority roads to improve safety, reduce vehicle speeds, and enhance multimodal connectivity. The new designs will repurpose road space to include safer pedestrian crossings, protected bike lanes, and bus priority designs. This focus on safety and mobility is key to making Ann Arbor a city where everyone can move easily and affordably.

🍎 Lunches with Love Returns on December 7
Our first Lunches with Love service project in November was so successful and fun that we are doing it again! With so many helping hands, we were able to pack 75 lunches for Food Gatherers in 30 minutes. This time we will set a more ambitious goal. Join us in the Westside Room at the Ann Arbor District Library Westgate Branch (2503 Jackson Ave) on Sunday, December 7, 12 - 2pm to pack healthy lunches for community members in need. Kids are welcome!
