🗳️Don’t forget to vote this Tuesday!
If you are an Ann Arbor voter, don’t forget to vote in this election on Tuesday, August 5th. This election will shape the future of the downtown library and the potential housing above it, so it is critical that we all make our voices heard. The library has information about the two ballot proposals here. You can also read more details on the Downtown Library FAQ.
Even if you aren’t yet registered, there’s still time to register and vote. Here are the different ways you can vote if you haven’t already:
Absentee: If you have an absentee ballot in your possession, you can drop it off at any of these drop-off locations or at your polling place. It is too close to the election to mail your ballot in; you must drop off your ballot in person.
If you’ve already sent in your ballot, you can track it here.
In-person: You can check your registration and polling place at https://mvic.sos.state.mi.us/Voter/Index. Polls are open from 7am - 8pm. Studies show that making a voting plan increases turnout. So take a minute now to think about when you want to go to the polls, and create an event in your calendar.

Michigan allows same-day voter registration, so if you aren’t yet registered to vote, go to the City Clerk on election day. The City Clerk is on the second floor of City Hall (301 E Huron St, Ann Arbor, MI 48104). You’ll need proof of residency and you can vote there once you’ve registered.
If you have any questions about how to register or cast your vote, just reply to this email. See you out at the polls!
